Popular Mechanics article has been making the rounds on the internets today for some reason. The article claims that British scientists have what they believe to be the most accurate image of Jesus. I think that’s a pretty bold claim to make but the picture seems more real to me than the one that I grew up with (in Mormon churches there is always a picture of Jesus and he has fair skin, light eyes, long straight hair). What do you think?

I like what they say about where the tortilla currently is:

The latest
object to be graced with His presence is this rock that is up for sale
on eBay. The auction ends this Friday, June 23rd. Right now the bidding
is up to a whole dollar. I would get the rock myself but the shipping
kills it for me, coming in at fifty bucks. Yikes! Can you spot Jesus in
the rock? I see something but to me it looks more like a devil than a
Jesus. Check out the auction:

The image of Jesus appeared during the week of Easter and the Vatican is sending out experts to take a look at the wall. This Jesus wall is not to be confused with the other Jesus wall that I wrote about.

According to the article the owner of the egg is going to list it on eBay, which, I guess I’d do as well. I wish the reporter had bothered to get a picture of the egg though because I want to see how sharp my Jesus-spotting skills are. This morning I thought I saw Jesus in my cornflakes but it turned out to be Charles Nelson Reilly so I won’t be listing anything on eBay any time soon.
