Jesus and some clowns

Posted in Jesus On The Web on April 13th, 2006

I don’t understand how this works, but apparently there is a non-denominational Christian clown conference. Go here to read more the conference and to register. Here’s an article on the clown group “Clowns for Jesus.”

Brangelina’s baby the next Jesus?

Posted in Jesus On The Web on April 12th, 2006

No, I don’t think that’s what NYMetro is trying to say. However, comparing anybody’s situation with that of Jesus just seems like sloppy journalism to me. For a fluff piece like this one you hardly need to drag the good name (depending on who you ask) of Jesus into the mix just to sell some papers. Why are people bothering to report on the offspring of celebrities anyway? Surely there is a war somewhere that deserves more coverage…

Jesus to enter fewer hearts this year

Posted in Jesus On The Web on April 9th, 2006

Jesus has announced that he will be cutting down on the number of people whose heart he enters. He also mentioned a mandatory six month waiting period for "inebriated, divorced, unemployed, imprisoned, or blue-state people." I wonder if Jesus knows about out-sourcing…

The life of Jesus

Here’s the life story of Jesus, as told by a bunch of Lego bricks. In addition to the life of Jesus you can find stories from both the Old and New Testaments.

The Jesus Pancake

Posted in Jesus On The Web on April 7th, 2006

Legend has it that the image of Jesus appeared on a pancake (link is to the Google cache because content can vanish pretty quickly on the interwebs). The maker of the pancake believed that his pancake was a “sign from above” and quickly put the pancake up for auction on eBay, because that’s what you’re supposed to do when the Son of God makes an appearance in your breakfast. Somebody thought that perhaps it was the image of Mohammed instead. The Jesus pancake was pulled from eBay for some sort of violation but apparently the bidding got up to about $15,000 before that happened. Soon after, the Jesus Pan made it’s appearance and the guy that claimed to have found the image of Jesus in his pancake admitted that his pan had created the pancake and not divine intervention. And there you have the story of the Jesus pancake.

Streaming Jesus Mp3 Player

Posted in Jesus On The Web on April 5th, 2006

I’m not really sure what this has to do with Jesus, but that’s what it says so who am I to say differently? The Free Home with Jesus Mp3 Player has three songs and a cool-ish interface, sort of like a mp3 player I’ve seen around…
