Jews for Jesus feeling some heat

Personally, I think it’s hilarious. Why shouldn’t they use advertising? Some guy in the article is quoted as saying “I personally don’t think religion has any place in advertising…” but I don’t hear him screaming about religion and our government. Whatevs, I say that if you have the budget use whatever advertising you can. Another article about it here.
by Christopher Moore. This is a wonderful book that is told from the perspective of Biff, a friend of Jesus as he was growing up. Christopher Moore is a very talented and funny writer. Initially, I was worried about how this story would be told but as long as you have a sense of humor you don’t really have to worry about anything. There’s not much in the book that would be considered “sacreligious” but it is extremely funny nonetheless. Follow Jesus and his buddy Biff as they go on spiritual quests, invent lattes, and kick some butt when needed. If you’re getting tired of all of the “serious” Jesus stuff that’s around right now, pick this book up. You’ll laugh out loud and wonder why you didn’t buy it sooner.
