Look no further, you can go here (flash plugin required). “Jesus Decoded” is a hour long documentary that is put out by the Catholic Church to help answer some questions about Jesus that are coming up because of the popularilty of “The DaVinci Code” and others in the news.
Go here and download the pdf file (originally printed in JAMA – The Journal of the American Medical Association). This is a 10-page, fascinating account of the death of Jesus (with illustrations), from a medical viewpoint. Excellent reading!
A documentary by the name of “The Unknown Stories of the Messiah” follows this theory and travels around to the places where Jesus was reportedly seen after his crucifixion. Read more about it here.
Looks like the third week of May is going to bring us a documentary about Jesus called “Jesus DeCoded.” The airtime is to coincide with the movie screening of Dan Brown’s DaVinci Code. I haven’t read his book but I know that it is a work of fiction (which some people seem to forget) so it will be interesting how the documentary either agrees or disagrees with Mr. Brown’s novel.
