Today is Good Friday, the day of the year that some people celebrate the crucifixion of Jesus the Christ. I’m not sure if that’s an official Federal holiday (I’m guessing that it’s not and since everyone has Google I don’t feel the need to look it up) but it’s a holiday for some just the same. Just found this South Park clip on YouTube. The South Park boys have never been afraid of controversy, I’ll give ‘em that. From what I understand, this episode was in direct response to Comedy Central censoring the show because they were going to show the image of Mohammed. I guess having Jesus take a crap on the flag and the President is much better than showing Mohammed’s face…I just don’t get it…

According to this article, MTV has a new show called “Popetown.” Seems like the story centers around a priest that has to take care of the Pope (or something like that.) Everything was going fine with the article until the end when the author, one Mandy Stolzfus, accused Muslims of being insane killers.
I have this to say to Ms. Stolzfus: You are an ass, a big retarded ass. Take your white-supremacy lovin’ Christian self and throw it over the nearest cliff. It’s because of people like you that idiotic wars start, like the damn holy war that our President seems hellbent on continuing. Hey lady, Christians have killed more people in the world than the Muslims have, think about that the next time you’re in church eating your bread and water.
No, I don’t think that’s what NYMetro is trying to say. However, comparing anybody’s situation with that of Jesus just seems like sloppy journalism to me. For a fluff piece like this one you hardly need to drag the good name (depending on who you ask) of Jesus into the mix just to sell some papers. Why are people bothering to report on the offspring of celebrities anyway? Surely there is a war somewhere that deserves more coverage…
According to the Denver Post, he would stick with a kosher Mediterranean diet. You know, fruits, vegetable, whole grains, olive oil, stuff like that. Looks like those cattle ranchers in Texas have the wrong idea…
