Death penalty not in keeping with the Gospel of Jesus
Gary Gardiner, a Christian Reverend, has written a letter expressing his belief that the dealth penalty is not the Christian way as Jesus intended. He makes a good argument about how the death penalty in the bible comes from the Old Testament and if we are to follow that than we should stone ourselves as well. He also mentions how Love is the Fullfillment of the Law and if that is true than the death penalty certainly does not show love, or forgiveness for that matter.
