That’s the title of this press release that I just came across. After reading it, I’m not sure where the “get high” part comes in. From what I can figure, the website that the press release is talking about makes fishhook jewelry that shows people how “hooked” on Jesus you are. The Washington Times is reporting that Jesus would most likely hang out in a coffeeshop if he were walking around today. I guess it’s possible, but aren’t coffeeshops quiet places now days? Any time I walk into a coffeeshop I feel like I’ve stepped into a library. People are working away on laptops and generally keeping to them selves. I think if Jesus were alive today he might be hanging out in bars. Hmm, maybe taco places as well.
That’s the question that’s being looked at in this article but I feel that the author doesn’t argue both sides of the point so much as give his opinion of why it’s true. Still, he brings up many interesting points if you’re looking for something to reaffirm your belief that Jesus was indeed resurrected and ascended into Heaven. If you’re thinking is otherwise then you might need to do a little more searching for your answers…
This guy seems to think so. Okay, I understand where he’s coming from. I think he’s missing the point of what Jesus was trying to say. Jesus never actually intended for people to cast mountains into the sea, while that would be bad-ass we would quickly run out of mountains. I think what Jesus was saying was that it would be impossible for anyone to actually have the faith required in order to toss a mountain into the sea. It is not in human nature to have faith, regardless of what people will tell you.

I’m always skeptical of those that claim to have “proof” of things that may or may not have happened thousands of years ago but still, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
Donald Miller has written a book titled “Blue Like Jazz” in which he breaks down the Christian stereotypes and finds his own relationship with Jesus. Actually sounds like a great read. Read more about it here at TheNewsTribune.
I don’t really know much about the Pope. I usually don’t listen to what he has to say because I’m not a Catholic. This time though, I think I can agree with him. This article reminds us that Jesus died on the cross to take care of the whole sin thing for everyone. This means that those who practice Christianity must remember that all sin is forgiven at this point and that God is not punishing anyone anymore.
